Dr. McCulley, a native of Fargo, returned to the community in 2006 to establish a premier eye care and optical center. She graduated cum laude from Boston College with a degree in Spanish and a concentration in pre-medical course work. She received her doctorate from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee, where she graduated with honors.
Dr. McCulley practiced optometry for several years at the University of Minnesota, Department of Ophthalmology. As the primary doctor in the Contact Lens Clinic, she worked with corneal specialists in fitting soft contact lenses, rigid lenses, and post-surgical contact lenses. Such cases included fitting contact lenses for pediatric aphakics (children born with cataracts that are surgically removed), patients with keratoconus, and patients with corneal transplants. In addition, Dr. McCulley worked in the Low Vision Clinic helping to maximize the visual potential of patients with eye diseases such as macular degeneration and glaucoma. She also worked to rehabilitate patients with vision loss following a stroke or head trauma.
Dr. McCulley has taken international trips to provide eye care and eyewear to needy
populations in Chimbote, Peru, and Santa Ana, Costa Rica. She looks forward to continuing
these missions abroad and developing programs for the local area.
Dr. McCulley is married to Rial Stedman.

Relaxing at home with a my husband while he cooks a great dinner and we share a bottle of wine. Or having a dinner party with our friends! - What's your favorite pair of eyeglasses from Optix?
My favorite pair is still the very first pair I ever got at McCulley Optix Gallery: TAG Heuer rimless eyeglasses with light pink flexible temples. They are so lightweight and comfortable. Even curled up on the couch they never get out of alignment. - What TV shows do you DVR?
Modern Family, Glee, Oprah Behind the Scenes, and Chopped - What's on your pizza?
If I'm being "good" its Papa Murphy's veggie with red sauce. If I'm being "bad" its Happy Joe's half taco, half pepperoni with mushroom and extra cheese - What's your dream vacation?
The islands off of Italy for wine tasting, delicious Italian food, sun and shopping

Denise started with McCulley Optix Gallery in 2010 and brings with her over 20 years of experience in frame selection and adjustment along with contact lens training. Denise is originally from South Dakota and makes it back frequently to visit family and ride go carts. She currently resides in Breckenridge, MN, with her daughter.

Lindberg is by far my favorite frame line that we carry. With their sleek design, flexibility, and light weight they fit just about anyone. I love my Lindberg frame how the temples are a unique bluish-purplish color that picks up different hues depending on what I am wearing, so they always look like a different frame! - What TV shows do you DVR?

A long cruise - complete with para sailing, cliff diving, snorkeling, scuba diving (wreck dive would be amazing), swimming with the dolphins, rest and relaxation and good old fun on the ship...no I am not wearing a helmet!!!

Jenna joined the team at McCulley Optix Gallery in the spring of 2011. Three years prior Jenna stumbled into an optical job, and has found a career she loves! She has finished all testing and certification to be certified by the American Board of Opticianry (ABO) and the National Contact Lens Examiners (NCLE.) These national competency exams are a voluntary process to ensure optical skills and knowledge are fulfilled. Certified Opticians also must complete a continuing education requirement to ensure they stay on the top of their field. Jenna grew up in Detroit Lakes and has a degree in Youth and Family Ministry from Trinity Lutheran College in Everett, WA.

In the summer, I am outside! In the winter, playing cards or scrabble, watching movies and knitting. - What's your favorite pair of eyeglasses from Optix?
I love SALT Sunglasses. My current favorite is the Harper. It is a great mossy green plastic frame with metal temples. And the polarized lenses are AMAZING with prism-free vision and a back-side no glare coat. The vision is so easy and comfortable in them, and they work great over my contacts. - What TV shows do you DVR?
Castle, Grey's Anatomy, Royal Pains, Law and Order SVU, Blue Bloods. - What's on your pizza?
Canadian Bacon or BBQ Chicken - What's your dream vacation?
A Mediterranean Cruise. Italy, Greece, Turkey, I want to see them all!

Robin is the newest optician at McCulley Optix Gallery. She is also new to the Fargo area and moved here in October of 2010 because of her husband's transfer to the Fargo VA Medical Center. A native of the Detroit, Michigan area, she has earned her ABO and NCLE certification and has 15 years of experience in the optical industry.

I am Downtown, Baby! - What's your favorite pair of eyeglasses from Optix?
My current favorite frame is Prodesign Denmark 1691. It is a plastic frame that comes in 8 colors and has the option to come with or without nosepads. I am a huge fan of their clean, simple, yet classic Danish design. Plus, this frame will work great for a single vision or progressive lens perscription. - What TV shows do you DVR?

All of the veggies - What's your dream vacation?
Well, being the "foodie" that I am, it would have to be a full blown food and wine tasting tour through all of Italy!
