Dr. McCulley loves being involved in her community by serving on local non-profit boards and chairing various charity events.  Dr. McCulley has taken international trips to provide eye care and eyewear to needy populations in Chimbote, Peru, and Santa Ana, Costa Rica. She looks forward to continuing these missions abroad and developing programs for the local area.

Dr. McCulley is married to her husband, Rial Stedman, and they have two daughters, Molly (age 5) and Claire (age 3).  In her free time Dr. McCulley enjoys spending time at the lake with her family and friends and traveling.

If you could take a vacation anywhere in the world, where would you go and why? Alaska and Hawaii are both on my bucket list! Then I'll be able to say I've visited all 50 states!

What is one of your hidden talents? I love to paint. Acrylic on canvas is what I've done so far and I'd like to explore watercolor painting too. So far I've done 3 works for my home and hope to someday have enough pieces to put on an art show at McCulley Optix Gallery!

What historical figure, alive or dead, wears the best glasses? Sally Jessy Raphael - those huge glasses were just like my 1st pair in 1990!

Jenna Gilbertson

Jenna Gilbertson

Jenna joined the McCulley Optix Gallery team in February of 2011. Jenna is our Office Manager and Pediatric Expert. She loves to help kids find glasses that they, and their parents, will love! Jenna also works with our Vision Therapy program as a Vision Therapist. Jenna is certified by the American Board of Opticianry (ABO) and the National Contact Lens Examiners (NCLE.) Jenna lives in Detroit Lakes, and enjoys spending time with friends and family, going to concerts, and knitting.

If you could take a vacation anywhere in the world, where would you go and why? The United Kingdom and Ireland are high on my list. To me, the weather sounds awesome (a little cool, slightly rainy) and I love the history the area has to offer. To hunker down in a pub and have a pint with the locals sounds like a dream come true!

What is one of your hidden talents? Cleaning Bathrooms. I have no idea why I enjoy it so much, but I love a super clean bathroom. I joke about maximizing people's flex spending at the end of the year, but I am really good at it! Tell me how much is left, and I will help you find the best vision solutions!

What historical figure, alive or dead, wears the best glasses? Audrey Hepburn, Breakfast at Tiffany’s. The sunglasses she wore as Holly Golightly worked great then, and would work great for anyone now!

Teri Krutsinger
Teri Krutsinger

Teri joined McCulley Optix Gallery in August of 2015. She brings with her more than 25 years of experience in the optical field, and loves to help choose the perfect frame and lens just for you! Teri is a Minnesota girl, who has recently moved to Fargo. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family and friends, along with reading, flower gardening, and knitting.

If you could take a vacation anywhere in the world, where would you go and why? I would love to travel to New Zealand and Australia! I have a friend who lives in NZ, who I would love to visit, and it is just so beautiful there! They live a simpler life in New Zealand, it seems to be a special place. And, if I'm in New Zealand, I may as well visit Australia, right? I'd be able to say I've been "down under", and also see what vegemite really is!

What is one of your hidden talents? Not many people know that I do Raindrop Technique for people. It is a light touch massage done with essential oil.

What historical figure, alive or dead, wears the best glasses? I've always thought George Burns rocked his round plastic frames! I don't think he'd have been recognized without them. I'm excited to see that round frames are making a comeback, they definitely make a statement!

Mary Janisch

Mary joined McCulley Optix Gallery in February of 2018. She is our newest optician and brings with her a background in fashion and customer service. She loves how glasses not only help people see clearly, but also help people make a fashion statement. She recently moved from Minneapolis to Fargo and is getting to know the Fargo community. In her spare time she enjoys being outside, going for walks with her family, and watching good movies.

If you could take a vacation anywhere in the world, where would you go and why? I would love to go to Germany. It would be interesting to visit Berlin, but I would also like to stay in a castle on the German countryside.

What is one of your hidden talents? I’m really good at making lasagna. I made it for Christmas this year and it was a big hit, which is great because I’m a terrible cook otherwise.

What historical figure, alive or dead, wears the best glasses? Albert Einstein. Every genius needs a great pair of glasses.
